I found the TechMap course to be incredibly useful, easy to follow and beneficial! I thought the TechMap course was very helpful. I learned a lot of new information and it gave me helpful insights that I can start using while speaking with my stakeholders and candidates. I liked that it was interactive, so it wasn’t just an information dump via video or article, but we had to retain the information and answer questions to assess our knowledge. I also appreciated all of the real-world comparisons mixed in such as the making a sandwich and restaurant examples. I’m not sure I have any suggestions at this point on things that I would improve, but if anything does come to mind I will certainly let you know.

It was useful – to an extent. As the leader of the TA team, I’m not as “in the weeds,” with talking to candidates as my recruiters are – I’ve been removed from it for a while, so it took me a bit longer to complete and might not be as useful in my day to day since I’m not actively recruiting.

Most of the courses were easy – the one with the dad and the peanut butter sandwich was not. That one was too long and confusing – it was asking me to code and I’m not a coder so maybe I made it harder than it needed to be? That was the only one where I got stumped.

Otherwise, I would def recommend this to tech recruiters or corporate recruiters that touch some tech stuff.
